Dr. Dwight Dahms – Team Doctor

Dr. Dwight Dahms gradutated from high school in the San Diego area and went on to earn a degree in biology from the University of California San Diego. He attended medical school at the University of California Los Angeles and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Arizona. Dr. Dahms is a devoted sports enthusiast and has donated his services to area youth sports teams for over 21 years. He is a team physician for Pepperdine, and associate physician for both Moorpark College and California Lutheran University athletics and is currently serving the US Soccer Team. Dr. Dahms has lived in the area since 1984 and several of his children graduated from Westlake High School. His son is a junior on the 2010 Varsity Team.


Dr. Scott Blatt – Team Trainer


DR. SCOTT BLATT prepped at Calabasas High School and earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge. Scott received his degree in chiropractic medicine from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He has served the Warriors as a team trainer for 17 years and teaches athletic training at Westlake High School. His passion for sports led him to open Body Logic and Sports Therapy in Westlake Village and he is a staff medical team doctor for the Association of Volleyball Professionals and the Association of Surfing Professionals. Additionally, Scott is an accomplished photographer, providing beautiful imagery of our athletes in action. Dr. Blatt lives in Westlake Village.


Ms. Jessica Reinert – Physical Therapist

MS. JESSICA REINERT is in her ninth year serving the Warriors as a physical therapist and athletic trainer. Jessica prepped at Dodge City High School in Kansas and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. Ms. Reinert went on to earn her MS degree in physical therapy from KU medical school in Kansas City, KS. While attending the University of Kansas she was a member of the prestigious Crimson Girls and the KU Dance Company. Jessica lives in Westlake Village.


Mr. Rick Kelman – Equipment Supervisor

MR. RICK KELMAN serves the Westlake Warrior Football Team as Equipment Supervisor. He prepped at Birmingham High School and attended both LA Pierce College and California State University, Northridge. He first became involved with Warrior Football as a parent and ran the concessions when the Warrior Stadium was built. He has been on staff at Westlake High School for 12 years and considers his job a “labor of love” for the team. Rick also coaches the Girls JV Softball Team. He lives in Westlake Village with his wife of 37 years, Wendy. Sons, Chad and Brady, who both played football for Westlake High.


Ms. Ellen Hellman – Athletic Secretary


MS. ELLEN HELLMAN is beginning her eigth year as the Westlake
High School Athletic Secretary, following 3 years at the front desk. Warrior athletes and coaches depend on her dedication to accuracy to ensure that every detail of competition is complete. Ellen graduated from James Madison High School, NYC and went on to earn a BA degree in English from Brooklyn College, NYC. A resident of Agoura since1979, Ellen coached youth track for many years. Her daughter Meredith attended Agoura High School where she lettered in 3 sports.

Ms. Christina HarrisonAthletic Scholarship Coordinator/Advisor

Ms. Christina Harrison has served the Warriors as Athletic Scholarship Coordinator/Advisor for 12 years.

She is incredibly valuable to the program as evidenced by the Warriors having an enviable high GPA during her tenure.

She is also a key contributor to the newly form Westlake Warrior Football Alumni Club (WWFAC) as an Alumni Liaison.



Mr. Hector Castro – Director of Football Operations

Mr. Hector Castro has served the Warriors as Varsity Game Announcer
for 12 years and as Warrior Football Booster President for the last 5 years. He was recently slated to become the Director of Football Operations for the Westlake Warriors. He graduated from John Marshal High School in Los Feliz, CA and went on to attend California State University, Los Angeles. His dedication to youth sports began with the Westlake Braves youth Football organization where he has volunteered as Athletic Director and President for the past 16 years. He is the proud father of three sons, Steven, Ryan and A.J. all of whom attended Westlake High School and played football for the Warriors. Steven lives in San Diego while attending school. Ryan and A.J. are both bravely serving our country in the U.S. Army.


Mark Ranieri – Co-Varsity Announcer

Mr. Mark Ranieri has served as Warrior Football Freshman, Sophomore, and Co-Varsity announcer for the last 9 years.

Mark has served as past and present President of the Westlake Braves youth Football organization for 11 years.


Jeff Johnson – Scoreboard Operations Guru

Mr. Jeff Johnson has served as  Warrior Football scoreboard operator for the last 7 years. With the introduction of the new scoreboard in 2009, this is no small task. Jeff has also served on the Board of Directors for the Westlake Braves Youth Football for the last 8 years. Jeff and his wife Danica are long time residents of Westlake and the parents of two sons. Tyler graduated from Westlake High School and played football for the Warriors. Conner is a current student at Westlake High School and part of Dr. Blatt’’s student training program.
